Air Force Jobs (AFSC)

The Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) is a set of numbers and letters that tell someone what job it is and even what skill level someone has within that job. For the sake of clarity, they are synonymous with the term Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) that other branches use.

There are many jobs that are open to new enlistees, but peppered throughout, you’ll run into jobs that are only open to people who hold a prior AFSC. I’ve designated those job with a double asterisk **. Also, each job has their own qualifications, so be sure to read through each to determine if you are eligible.

If you want to filter Air Force jobs based on ASVAB Scores or other CRITERIA, head over to the Air Force List Building Tool and start narrowing down the jobs you are interested in.
